Hughes Nederland Holdings BV, an indirect subsidiary of
Baker Hughes Incorporated (BHI), has acquired a 40% equity in
the company. Under terms of the agreement, BHI will license and have
unlimited access to JOA’s JewelSuiteTM software, an integrated
reservoir modeling tool that uses patented 3D gridding technology for
building accurate reservoir models with ease. BHI will also fund a
significant portion of the development required to incorporate some of
BHI’s in-house engineering applications around the wellbore and its
leading geomechanical technologies earlier acquired through GeoMechanics
International (GMI).
AAPG Annual
Convention & Exhibition June 7 – 10th
PST attends the 2009 AAPG
convention in Denver. PST publishes two articles on the convention. One
topic is the tight sand reservoir fracture prediction and modeling in
Xinchang Gas Field. And another is petroleum system modeling and
analysis in Abu Sufyan Sub-basin , Sudan.
CPS / SEG
Conference & Exhibition on April 24, 2009
PST attends CPS / SEG Beijing 2009
International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition in Beijing
International Convention Center (BICC) on
April 24, 2009.
The exchange
of new technologies meeting held by CNPC on April 14, 2009
PST Service Corp. is invited to
participate in the exchange of new seismic interpretation and reservoir
prediction technologies meeting held by CNPC. On the meeting PST
introduces seismic inversion, fracture prediction and modeling
technologies.
Advanced
training of seismic inversion and reservoir prediction
PST in Beijing organizes a week-long reservoir inversion
advanced technical training. The training aims to enhance reservoir
inversion concept and understanding of the process to determine the
reservoir prediction research work processes and improve reservoir
prediction skill level and work efficiency.
